New interesting facts and feature of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 is launched with lots of new advancements and enhancements that will definitely advances the CRM user experience and will enhances their business procedures. CRM 2013 also improved in different browsers and devices like tablets, mobiles usability.

Horizontal navigation:  In previous versions the navigation used to be in left nav panel now in CRM 2013 it is placed in top of the page with horizontal layout. This is more user friendly and touch friendly for tablets. Each entity has a drop down horizontal sub menu to show further option related to it when we hover the mouse pointer on it.

Easy Navigation:   we can also pin to set as default to the opened CRM form and more commands made handy to the user for further commands.  Earlier these used to be in ribbon.

In filter view the icons displays to the top right corner of the CRM page.

User Interface without pop ups: In CRM 2013 we will not find any popup windows on clicking to open any new form it will open in current open view. By pressing (Alt + back arrow key) together we can navigate to previous page or by browsers back button.  We can navigate to any CRM form by using horizontal navigation highlighted section and need not to close our current opened window.

Auto Save feature in CRM 2013:

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 now capable to auto-save records as soon as you edit them. After editing some record while closing the record it is auto saved. This feature dramatically reduces the clicks all over the CRM.  The CRM user can also turn on /off this auto save feature.

With auto save ON-

Business flow:  For example from leads which turns to opportunity and opportunity turns to order.

Social wall:  This section allows you to post social messages right on the record. It allows user to have a complete vision what is going on related with the record, messages generated automatically when any event occurred like record is created or some activity is done related to any record.

More convenient to create new records:  User can create any type, record or entity.

These were some new feature which I found interesting while using MS CRM 2013.
