Alpha testing
Alpha testing is a type of software testing that involves a group of external users testing the software to ensure that any detected bugs or issues are resolved before the software is released to the public. The “alpha” in alpha testing stands for “alpha version”, which typically indicates a preliminary or incomplete version of the software. A successful alpha test will identify problems that can cause the software to crash or become unreliable when it is made available to the public. To find those problems, the team conducting the alpha usually provides detailed feedback to the software developers who created the software.
