Unified Client Interface in Dynamics 365 Engagement Plan

The new Unified Interface is a bond between web and mobile platforms, providing a dependable experience across devices by utilizing a responsive design for optimum viewing and interaction regardless of the device's screen size or orientation. Microsoft have added apps ending with the word "Hub" will be on the Unified Interface.  Other apps mentioned in the list without the word suffixed “Hub” by September will be phased out and deprecated.

How does Unified Interface improve performance?

Microsoft determines how the Unified Interface improves performance and reliability. These included:

1-    63% improvement in grid load 

2 -   37% improvement in form load

3-    45% improvement in dashboard load

4-    30% improvement in quick create load


Navigation in Unified Interface

On clicking the Dynamics 365 navigation arrow you will have a list of all apps. On top, you can find improved Navigation Bar and at the left-hand side new improved side navigation menu.

 

Sales Activity Dashboard

Users can change to other dashboards withing the sales module by clicking the link as shown in the screenshot. 


 

New Navigation Bar & New Navigation Menu

The new Navigation menu is always present and easier than ever to navigate without losing the ever-elusive hover using mouse required in classic CRM. The new Navigation menu can be collapsed to create more working space in the app.

In either mode, the users know exactly where they are and where they can navigate to with ease.

 

Navigating to Other Entities

Panel to navigate to other entities under Sales module or any other entity like here Contact is clicked.


 

Views

Other Contact views can be found by clicking this arrow.

More Features on Contact Form-My Active Contacts

On clicking the highlighted Arrow shown in the screenshot will give you the list of your all active contacts. Currently on Contact form Summary tab is selected and showing the detail it has.

On the Related tab, you will find related services to this contact. As shown in the below image.

 

Top Navigation Features

1- Search Area users can search for anything from here.

2- Tasks Flows are intended to make a process easier and faster to execute. A Task Flow is like a wizard where it walks someone through a series of  steps. The system has out-of-the-box task flows that you can use or update.

3- Relationship Assistant, it provides the most relevant information. Reminders of upcoming activities. Points out email messages waiting for your response, etc.

4- It can be reached to the Activity section by clicking this and also other entities can be found in the list here.

5- Advance find to search for data based on a particular search criterion.

6- Connect and share options to Community Dynamics or share an Idea.

7- Settings Option

8- Microsoft helps Doc link.
