One of the most confusing aspect of MVC and Web API is the subject of routing. MVC routing looks and feels more logical to most developers as compared to the Web API routing. The reason behind this is that Web API depends on the HTTP verb to match the action being called. It follows a set of conventions which automatically fires a particular action based on the endpoint being hit. This throws of most of us because we are in the habit of calling methods by name.

Excel Services in SharePoint Server 2013 is a shared service that you can use to publish Excel 2013 workbooks on SharePoint Server. The published workbooks can be managed and secured according to your organizational needs and shared among SharePoint Server 2013 users, who can render the workbooks in a browser. Excel Services was introduced in Office SharePoint Server 2007 and is available only in the Enterprise edition of SharePoint Server 2013.

In SharePoint 2013 there is a new service called distributed catch. The Distributed catch service is built on windows AppFabric, which implements the AppFabric catching service window server AppFabric installs with the prerequisites for SharePoint Server 2013.

The Term store management tool is a beneficial features that can help you manage Terms Sets that are used in the managed metadata service in SharePoint 2013. Term store is also preconfigured service in SharePoint Online we just need to create out Group, Term set and term as per our organization requirement.
